TOP UPdates & Opportunities
People are always talking about empowerment and empowering people and communities. And while the intention behind the word is good, it assumes that people don't already inherently have power. Embolden WI recognizes that while people truly do have the power to radically imagine a better future and to create community-driven systems change, we often lack the curiosity, connection, and courage to harness and apply that power.

EMBOLDEN means to impart boldness or courage : to instill with boldness, courage, or resolution enough to overcome timidity or misgiving. Embolden WI is here to serve as a home for innovative health equity and civic health advocacy projects. We envision healthy, vibrant, equitable, and socially just communities and to achieve this, we are here to amplify and catalyze programs and initiatives to improve health outcomes, health equity, and civic health.
